This past week, my pain management specialist has been working diligently to alleviate the pain, with limited success. The best hope, apart from the Master’s touch, is that he was able to reschedule the “celiac plexus block” for Friday morning. This procedure failed in late July, but hopefully will work this time as the nerves surrounding the pancreas and spinal cord are deadened. We fly to Seattle on Monday for the 28-day check-up in my clinical trial at Virginia Mason Medical Center. Your prayers, notes and cards are a great encouragement to us!
