Send your kids on an impacting island adventure!
At Shipwrecked VBS, kids discover how Jesus rescues us through life’s storms. Shipwrecked is filled with incredible Bible-learning experiences kids see, hear, touch, and even taste! Beach crafts, team-building games, cool Bible songs, and tasty treats are just a few of the standout activities that help faith flow into real life. (Since everything is hands-on, kids might get a little messy. Be sure to send them in play clothes and safe shoes.) Plus, we’ll help kids discover how to see evidence of God in everyday life—something we call "God Sightings". Get ready to hear that phrase a lot!
Your kids will also participate in a hands-on mission project, through a program called Operation Kid-to-KidTM, that will provide seeds for families in Haiti to grow food.
Parents, grandparents, and friends are invited to join us at "Sail Away Sendoff" on Friday, July 27, as we share our amazing week!!
VBS Registration is a Two-Part system. First, register your child by clicking the box below. Then, proceed to Part Two for your payment.

Sunday, March 4 8:30 am or 10:30 am
We are so excited to let you know about an upcoming event here at Kaimuki Christian Church.
On March 4 at 8:30 am and 10:30 am, we will offer 2 free 1 hour estate planning seminar in partnership with Financial Planning Ministry (FPM), a non-profit organization serving the Christian community for over 35 years. You will learn more about Wills and Living Trusts and how to protect your assets for the people and ministries you care about –all from a Biblical perspective.
FPM will also offer individual appointments a few weeks later. If you so choose, they will create an estate plan for you (or update your current one). You will never be charged a fee for their events or services. All they ask is that you prayerfully consider leaving a gift to one of their Ministry Partners, through your estate plan.
While we may all agree that a Will and Living Trust are important, many of us postpone creating (or updating) them. As an important part of the KCC family, we want to bless you with this opportunity to learn your options, create your documents and leave a legacy for your family.
Keiki Ministry is available for children and infants. Pre-registration by Sunday, February 25 is required. Sign up on line at www.kaimukichristian.org or jot “FPM” and time you are attending on your connection card.
Friday, February 9, 6:00 -9:00 pm
Saturday, February 10, 9:00 am -3:00 pm

Tens of thousands of women worldwide will participate in the IF:Gathering on February 9-10, 2018, via a livestream from a event in Austin, Texas. With a variety of cultures and denominations represented, these women hold one thing in common: they want to live like God is real. The IF:Gathering provides space for women to wrestle with essential questions of faith, to dream, and to connect during a two-day gathering.
At IF:Gathering 2018, we will look at one of Paul’s letters to Timothy as he reminded him of the power and responsibility of sharing the gospel. We want to give God away in the very places He’s put us, so we’re going to gather for the purpose of remembering why following God and making disciples matters. We all get tired, we all wonder if what we’re doing matters, so IF:Gathering 2018 will be the reminder—it will be the celebration. The work we’re doing to share the gospel on the earth is worth it and God DOES move through the little things that nobody sees.
Costs include a Dessert Bar, Continental Breakfast, Lunch and all materials. Space is limited to 50 women. Please see Pastor Marie Eletise for Scholarship Information.

Can you give a gift of time? We are looking for people to help in all sorts of fun, seasonal ways as we celebrate Christmas. When we all come together to help out, the season just seems brighter and the joy more contagious. There are so many ways to share your time.
- Bake 3-4 Dozen Cookies
- Help at an Ornament Table
- Be a Usher on Christmas Eve
- Say Aloha & be a Greeter
- Come with your Family to Light Candles
- Help our church find parking on Christmas Eve
- Love on Babies and Preschoolers on Christmas EvE
Thanksgiving-focused services will take place on 11/24 & 11/26 at our regular service times. Would you consider sharing a verbal praise ('thank you Lord!') in one of the following ways:
- A blessing IN YOU that you’d like to thank the Lord for this season.
- THROUGH YOU an opportunity you have had to just walk across a room these past weeks.
- Someone who just walked across a room FOR YOU to talk to you about Jesus.
Pastor Ron says, "We’ll have time during the service next weekend to share, so bring a verbal 'Thank' offering to the Lord!"
What if redirecting a person's forever really is as simple as walking across a room?
Just Walk Across the Room is an all-church experience starting November 3rd and 5th and concluding on December 1st and 3rd at all weekend services.
How does it work?
- Listen to the weekend sermon starting Nov 3/5
- Meet with your ohana group during the week and grow together in reaching others for Christ!
