What a joy it is to be here with you in the Keiki Ministry of Kaimuki Christian Church!  Your children are amazing!  In total – our kids are bright, happy and love the Lord.  They are precious in God’s sight and in our volunteers’ hearts.  Let me say, first and always, thank you for allowing us to minister to your children!  We love them!

August is the beginning of another new year – both at school and church.  August 14/16 is our Promotion Weekend.  Every child gets to move up to their current age/grade level class.  For some this means no change in room or teachers, for others a big change is coming.  Listed below are our classrooms and age level breakdowns.

Friday  7pm

• Two - Five Year Olds (not in Kindergarten) • Room 105
• Kindergarten – Fifth Grade • Keiki House
  (Look for more information in the near future about our new Friday Night Programming and Dance Ministry beginning in late September.  Your child will want to be involved!)

Sunday  8:30am

We have so many exciting things planned for your family and children in the upcoming months.  Here’s a glimpse of what you can look forward to:

September and October Curriculum – Fear Knot
We invite your child to join us in September and October during the Sunday Morning Services for Fear Knot.  What are children afraid of and what does God’s Word teach about how to overcome a “fear knot” inside?  This series covers the eight most common fears of children including fear of heights, snakes, drowning, scary movies, spiders, the dark, bullies and strangers, and will show them how God can help them to fear knot based on Joshua 1:9.

October 31 – The Harvest Celebration
Jesus is the Lord of the Harvest.  Let’s take back October 31st to honor God.  We invite your family to join us for a special evening of celebration, costumes, games, food, and good fun!  The entire community will be invited to participate.

December 5 – The Angel Breakfast
What is Christmas really about?  Let’s start the month off right but celebrating Jesus’ Birthday.  Children are invited for a pancake breakfast and then to visit four “angel” stops that will help them celebrate the real reason for the season.
