Our congregation began in 1909 as a Sunday School and was organized as a church in 1923. Kaimuki Christian School was added in 1969 to the ministry of Kaimuki Christian Church. A new sanctuary was built in 1970 and the church grew under the leadership of Harold and Jone Gallagher.
The Lord called Ron and Dee Arnold to return to Kaimuki Christian Church in 1993, this time as Senior Pastor, to lead KCC into the 21st century. The Lord gave a vision along with that call which has resulted in the assembling of an excellent Staff, an expanded membership, expansion of our Worship Center to more than twice its previous size and the addition of six adjacent properties on this block.
The Vision continues to develop as we see God's plan to build this block into a ministry base that will impact this community and the world! A Master Plan for the block has been developed and we're excited to see how the Lord will bring this dream to pass! |
